Hope
you had a great Holiday Season. We sure did! The shops were busy, and then when shops were closed, we
dined and “partied” with friends and relatives. And the one talent we really have is to “holiday!”
What a great time of the year.
We are so grateful to your loyalty to Crafts People. You were all
so supportive and patient (even when you had to wait in line)! It was a delight to watch so many of you find the “perfect
gift.” We try hard to have something special for everyone and we seemingly did a good job this year.
Remember to redeem those “Craft Bucks”….Remember,
they can be “spent” through January 16, then they EXPIRE!
Remember the process: You have saved your
invoices from Crafts People starting Nov 11, 2011 and then all of December.
TOTAL (excluding sales tax ) these
dated invoices after the holidays. 10% of this total is “Craft Bucks” for you. Place them in an envelope with
your name and address on the front and the amount of “Crafts Bucks” you have earned. Present
them in Building 2 to the salesperson and he will give you your “Crafts Bucks.” “Crafts Bucks” have
no cash value, but you can go shopping for FREE.
If you have $40 worth of “Craft Bucks,” you can “purchase
$40 worth of merchandise FOR FREE from any or all of the buildings. Or you can use your “craft bucks” toward a larger purchase, receiving $40 off the larger
purchase. “Craft Bucks” can
be used December 30, 2011 through January 16, 2012 ONLY (NOT before, NOT after), so be sure to get here during that time.
The $150 Shopping Spree drawing was won by Barbara Mc Geachen
of Rensselaerville. Congratulations, Barbara. She is so lucky. What fun deciding how you wish to indulge
yourself, Barbara.
Now just remember…Crafts People will be CLOSED January 17,
2012 through March 16, 2012 for some recreation and renovation. So…plan accordingly.
In late January we will
be attending several crafts shows, NYC., Philly, Orlando…then we are off to a holiday (after draining the water, turning
off the heat, doing income tax, oh my!) But where will we go? We still haven’t decided, we tend not to return to places
visited, but there are so many choices. So, if you guess correctly by January 27, 2012 where we’ll
travel – you will receive a 5% discount coupon if you guess the right continent, a 10% discount if you guess the right
country, for our reopening weekend (March 16-March 19, 2012). That is, you will receive an email response that will give you
these discounts for March 16-March 19, 2012. What fun! Just email your choices to crafts@hvc.rr.com, subject DESTINATION. “He who wanders is not necessarily lost!”

good fortune! There will be lots more coupons and specials in our March Newsletter.
